Minimum interprofessional wage in Andorra for 2024

The minimum interprofessional wage in Andorra for 2024 was increased by 7% compared to the previous year. The official decree was published on 20 December 2023. This increase is effective from 1 January 2024. The minimum monthly wage will therefore be 1,376.27 euros. This was announced by Government Spokesman Minister Guillem Casal at a press conference. The increase is due to the price increase of the CPI, which stood at 4.6%. The average salary is around 2,400 euros, which means an increase of 4.6%.

This minimum interprofessional wage in Andorra for 2024 is valid for any employee in Andorra over 15 years of age, governed by the following concepts:

Hourly wage: 7,94 €
Daily wage: 63,52 €
Monthly wage: 1.376,27 €
Hours per day: 8
Hours per week: 40
Holidays: 30

The Minister of the Presidency, Economy, Labour and Housing, Conxita Marsol, reported on the desire to regulate wage increases in Andorra, especially those between the minimum and the average wage, with the maximum consensus of all parliamentary forces.

After the employers and trade unions failed to reach a consensus on wage increases, on 10 January 2024 the Andorran government introduced a bill into parliamentary procedure to regulate, in accordance with the CPI, wage increases between the minimum and the average wage. In this way, the Government wants to regulate salaries beyond the minimum interprofessional wage, and in this way maintain the purchasing power of Andorran citizens.
